Richard contacted me today, 25 Feb 2014, and gave me the information above.  He asks if there are any others out there who were at Trabzon when he was there, and who remember him.  He says he will try to find old records to post here.  (Hopefully, he will have some stories to tell, and some photos to add to our website.)  (Unfortunately, haven't heard from Richard since 2014.  Richard are you still there?)
